Bette Midler, 80, coordinated with her lookalike daughter Sophie during a rare joint appearance on October 23.
The Hocus Pocus actress embraced an aquatic theme while making a special appearance at the annual Hulaween Gala in New York City.
Midler shares the 39-year-old actress with her husband Martin von Haselberg.
Bette Midler cemented her status as the queen of Halloween while running amok, amok, amok with her lookalike daughter Sophie in New York City. On October 23, the Hocus Pocus actress had fans seeing double as she coordinated with her mini-me on the red carpet in gold netted costumes.

In photos shared by the Daily Mail, Midler—who shares her only daughter with husband Martin von Haselberg—could be seen getting into character as she attended NYRP’s Hulaween Gala. In a nod to the Hulaween on Horror Reef: Monsters of the Deep theme, the 80-year-old actress leaned into the aquatic memo with a shimmering floor-length gold gown, which she topped with a matching gold cape crafted from gilded netting and shimmering decorative sea shells as well as starfish.

Beaming as she posed next to Sophie on the New York City red carpet, Midler added a pop of color to her liquid gold gown with a pair of dark red opera gloves and a matching red swan-inspired fascinator with a netted veil. She styled her silver hair back into a bun with her full front bangs out, framing a full glam moment with a smoky eyeshadow, ruby red lipstick, and sculpted cheekbones.

Meanwhile, Sophie—who’s followed in her mom’s footsteps with an acting career of her own—made a statement with a gold netted look of her own, which she embellished with starfish as well as decorative pieces of trash like plastic cartons and bags.
The 39-year-old Love Story actress covered her hair with a black hooded one-piece jumpsuit that was bedazzled in sequins underneath. Making a silly expression at the camera à la Winifred Sanderson, Sophie showed off her iridescent green face paint and faux gills, suggesting she’d opted to dress up as a sea creature.
Sophie and Midler, who last posed together on the red carpet in 2021 during a Kennedy Center Honors event, have made the annual Halloween gala a bit of a tradition over the years. In 2019, the lookalike duo went all out while showing off their contrasting takes on a showgirl-inspired costume theme.
